The Atkins Diet was becoming increasingly popular since the birth of this diet plan in 1992, and has started the “No Crab” craze. This Diet Plan is low crab and there is a high amount of protein and has a good amount of attention aimed towards the controversy surround the Atkins Diet Plan.
The man who created this diet plan Dr.Robert C. Atkins published his theories first on weight loss in the year 1972. The diet he made began to catch on to a big community of dieters around 20 years later when the Dr.Atkins published the New Diet Revolution book. This was not the first book that Robert wrote but it was the first diet program he was able to write that really was able to takeoff.
Because these kind of diet advocates meats, as well as many other types of fatty foods, and also eliminates fruit and vegetables almost altogether due to the high Carbohydrate content they have. A lot of people feel that this Diet plan is unhealthy and would cause more harm to the person on this diet, if they just didn”t diet at all. Although people felt this was unhealthy there are a lot of people who were able to have success with this diet, even though it is contriversal it is still a diet that has proven itself throught the diet community, many people have used the Atkins Diet if you think the Atkins Diet is right for you check it out.
